I had some white chocolate chips lying around, so I decided to make chocolate chip cookies in reverse: dark chocolate base with white chocolate chips! I found this recipe here.
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (plus a few to sprinkle on top)
Cream the butter and sugars. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Combine wet and dry ingredients until combined. Stir in milk and fold in white chocolate chips. Chill dough for at least two hours. Bake at 350*F for 12 minutes.
